Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Pet Health Center stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that it isn’t just the animals who deserve our love and care but also you as their caregivers.
Appointments
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently schedule appointments for you and your pet(s). Our receptionists and pet health care team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted almost anytime our clinic is open. If at all possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can schedule an appointment that limits the wait time for you and your pet and works best for everyone.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have veterinarians and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle the vast majority of urgent care your pet needs. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can consist of things such as antifreeze poisoning, pets that were hit by cars, injured in fights, or foreign body/chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. It always is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on what to do prior to your departure that could save your pet’s life.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening and does not require a specialist, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, your pet will be evaluated as soon as possible and the staff will provide an estimate on how long you may have to wait, if at all.
